expert Apprentice AACI Day Teachers' Day 2007

On Friday September 14, 2007 was made by fourth consecutive year, AACI Teachers' Day , a day for sharing learning experiences among teachers of the Asociación Argentina de Cultura Inglesa. Last year I presented The FCE Blog . This year I talked about Corpus , the wiki project that complements the teaching of English.

When posting my slides, I'll add a link here. For now, I just want to say that one of the nicest things that have happened since I started the blog is, without doubt, the works that were inspired by that presentation. I knew some, but many hands raised at the hearing when asked by new bloggers. There are many more! Gabriela

Sellart
, a prolific blogger, gave a summary of its inception and his experience as edublogger. This entry with slides.

In his presentation, rescued some questions about educational blogs to keep thinking. Transcribe the comment I left on Scaffolds:

Gabriela,

What a pleasure to see and hear what happens in another blogger from their own work. Represents a sharp learning curve for me.

Taking it Further follows the proposal for The FCE Blog posts educational concepts such as respect for privacy, ruled the game and open communication with parents (the latter now part of www.corpus.wikispaces.com).

Message for new edubloggers: Please róbenme these concepts. Thanks.

Some notes on things to specify in your show (my head began to sketch out a post while listening to you):

Slide 16: The question of autonomy.
autonomy to their students' learning is the concept hinge. I remember your questions about the feasibility of this autonomy when we lead both students. I begin by reviewing the role of the teacher before judging whether this or that blog project autonomy is possible. If the teacher to blog did not feel a tsunami to think that his role and will never be the same, maybe your blog is a simple replication process archaic courtly embellished by the glamor that gives you "integrate" new technologies. No training of students for more independent learning, we're just not talking about it when we say blogs.

Slide 14: A reader vs
There are countless readers, potentially, an infinite number of readers for students who publishes content. It serves to motivate the infinite, for statistics, but two readers reaching for reflection followed by action , Which is the main objective of these efforts. Suffice as an example of productivity on the basis of conversation and asynchronous learning fluid between your blog and mine. *

Slide 8: Is it possible to teach and learn at the same time?
Always. Always.

way, how is the other way to teach?

..........
* (asynchronous I say because I remember that your home, for example, we talk about the glorious roast rather than edublogs Juan!)

(thinking aloud)
do mine this rare privilege of being the trigger quality jobs.
