Fair And Lovely Multivitamin And Sunscreen

Communication established on Twitter and twitterers

Father and son on a visit to Mendoza makes ... Well, many years. In a stop on the road to tour the Christ Redeemer, the father who did not speak English, he asks his son which we translate. After the introductions and explain that they were Belgian, the son went to walk and explore a little mountain.

And that's when it happened. I knew nothing of French at that time. Belgian man spoke no English and to make matters worse my English accent did not evoke any sense even though I tried speak very slowly. We were standing in front of the group of hiking, sketching awkward smiles. Perplexed and silent. The words made no sense.

The man approached the group and began to draw on the surface covered with dust and splattered with mud. The picture was clear to me. Attentive and followed him with anxious eyes. Ably delineated on the map of Argentina and the outline of the province of Buenos Aires. He looked at me and stating that it was my turn, I said:

- Où?

On your drawing, I set the city of Buenos Aires with a circle, and slightly to the west, with another, my people. Answered

-General Rodríguez.

laugh together at last. I remember our hands dirty, their faces full of gratitude for the barrier drawn and communication established.

Pc Reason Will Not Open Orkester Disc

English, my dear colleagues and readers, is a good language 2.0. Short, colorful, and amenable to suffixation. Allows coining words that nimbly integrate both the colloquial and the academic. That the same word can be noun, adjective or verb that you can use it in so many contexts that would have to conclude that the grammatical structure of language is a code as open. What is said in the jargon, an open source architecture .

Without doubt, the synthesis of which is capable of English, not technical, Twitter's creators decided to put a limit of 140 characters. They were not thinking in English, but in the economy of Anglo-Saxon style of communication. I see this is quite disruptive to the effervescent Argentine twitterers this week look out for the first time to experience.

really enjoy seeing the tweet page and discover the talks and experiments. Some more attractive than others, but everything - and distributed, along - I love it. Funny

until yesterday when one of my colleagues, English teacher, tuitio their distress. It seems that many of those who were touched in their lack of knowledge of English and the impotence, rather than simply remove it from your contacts, blocker. Apply block to say: "I do not want to see more, or allow you to see me." It is a useful feature to stop spammers . But this is to insist that a blogger change nanoblogging your preferred language, or else ... That is to be a twitterbully ! (By the way exemplifies the plasticity of language to coin). Fea

attitude.

As my colleague was concerned that Saturday at about 12 o'clock at night, relief tweeting your Twitter account to open another in English and begins to self-impose more work to keep track leads generated, which clearly values-and thus a bad repair he never did.

temperature in degrees Twitter: -2.0
Why? Because now my colleague, overcome, gave way. And his lovely bicolor Twitter account is no more. Had no obligation to tweet in a language or another, or having to spamming translations of each tweet to order, or better expressed: management subtle. Now divided, we lose all possibility of approaching a blogger through a tinge of entries that mix the professional area with readings trivial, meal times and why not your cat sneeze, if desired. Give us an idea of \u200b\u200bthe person and their learning as a whole real-time . Of course invite encountering the new, always and necessarily a little uncomfortable. But it is precisely all this mosaic, my dear readers, the very essence of grace and much criticized Twitter.

I said and I repeat. This is not the tools. This new site is pure revolution in communication. digital literacy is plainly a change in attitude.

Had tweeting in Italian, would have said "but how cute" and French guess that would have complimented with a "what sensual." But English teachers had to be! And that, my dear readers, itchy torturous memories of past lessons and ridiculous rote methods.

who already speak it, get sticks for being a privileged, lucky or elitist. Never before someone with a victim complex who does not understand, it should be mentioned, purely by choice and not cognitive disabilities, we will recognize not one of the tabs that burned to learn. Shall I tell you a secret? You do not speak English to humiliate anyone. The reproacheth is always internal.

Those people
Autodiscriminates by jealousy of what others set out to achieve, these castaways without sinking, because the boat did not sink continuing education and is always inviting them to learn more on this wonderful web of limitless possibilities ...

For them, this is my answer:

Dare to insecurity of having no idea or theory, or prescription to tell us how to use Twitter. A little playful delivery into this world, please.

Twitter, is it a game? Well, you have to play. Now this play would have to take it more seriously. The challenges us to imagine the game open communication attitudes global, multilingual and gregarious, but distributed throughout the world.

How Much Does Rabies Vaccine Cost For A Dog

EduBloggerWorld

This new community of edubloggers hosted on Ning was born four days ago and already has more than 100 participants .

How does it arise?
Details deserved an entire post, but Darren Draper, perhaps the main proponent of the idea, sums it up nicely in this post July 11. After the success of the EduBloggerCon an unconference before NECC conference in Atlanta, Vicky Davis, Julie Lindsay and Steve Hargardon thought to open a space for exchange with teachers from around the world.

Why?
create a scenario where the experience of meeting, not to replace dialogue in the blogosphere, but to connect and generate future edubloggers-face meetings or not, but international.

This is an opportunity to connect and, perhaps, a place to publicize blogfesor conferences in other languages.

Also in English
And the answer was immediate. Yesterday I learn by José Luis Cabello via Twitter EduBloggerWorld that already exists within a group with threads in English called Ñblog . Today I contacted Boris Mir , its creator, and I decided to join.

I see in the first comments from the group a topic that interests me, the differences between the Anglophone and Hispanic educational blogosphere. Engage in these conversations within a community could bridge language gap so, that few even aware it exists.

How nice it would open more dialogue in the blogosphere distributed education. How I would like to see other group initiatives in Portuguese, French ... And wikis with conclusions of conferences in different countries can be integrated and shared in some way.

may be the start of something big. Depend on how many join.

are invited.

Sample Television Program Proposal

"Blog or Forum? Weblogs

The paradigm shift from participation to the conversation

reflections De views Comment
has to do with tolerance of difference. All opinions are respected. Whether we agree or not. Reflecting, I think, is something else. You can do good or evil. You can fall into fallacies, flaws of thought.

To switch the view to reflect, you have to talk with others and let the quiet ego. Must have a healthy ego that is not desperate for approval. Then you can listen and not feel threatened by difference. Let that thought the other in playing a role in their own. In this dialogic is where we can go further. The best knowledge is distilled in conversations and meetings of opposites.
What

is a blog? Is it like a forum?
When things appear new and disruptive, the mind tends to resist. Cuesta mentally embrace a concept that did not exist. It appears that you have to make room, if not, does not nest. Then, start analogies. Because the mind in his laziness is hesitant to admit that the weblogs this is something different. It should look like something else.

For those who never experienced it a blog, is scared of resemblance to the forums. If the moderator does a good job of caring for everyone, the forum can become bitter and even aggressive.

Comment Moderation
I started blogging in English and only this year I look the English blogosphere. I wonder why so much history with something as natural as moderate comments.

A Paul Mancini asked about this subject and write a post up to this question:

"How can you not limit freedom of expression of the commentators but not publish things that offend others? "
Paul responds as a blogger

"I do not know.'ll Tell you what I do. My experience."

I thought the big issue here is that freedom of expression is not involved in the blog. And respect for others it is simply indisputable.

( Note: I rushed to comment before anyone confuse this pearl of a forum post!)

is very interesting that point of freedom of expression associated with the blogs , in particular, to comment moderation.

I think there's a cultural issue behind it. Anglo-Saxon in the blogosphere no one thinks confuse a blog with a forum. Or think anyone will believe that a 'censorship' to moderate comments. Or that the blogger is a 'facilitator' in post conference.

Why should I be frowned upon to say no. I do not smoke. I do not mind people smoke. In my house? Oh no, please. My blog is my home, my thinking, at least. In my blog I am giving miopinión. Comment not apologize for thinking or dissent!

The role of the blogger is talking, do not guarantee freedom of expression employed. And watch the confusion of thinking that freedom is something that we 'give'. There is, period. Of course you have to realize.

Strongly agree not to post an anonymous or spam. Although soil publish all, I do not seem wrong not to publish comments that contribute nothing to the conversation started in the post. Out of respect and care for those who came to read for the title in RSS.

historical balance in Argentina is a sad story of censorship. I always heard that the lost generation. That which did not disappear for thought. Still consumes too much power in the fight for spaces of participation. Talk and more difficult.

should be regaining the ability to leave one to embrace an idea. Even if just to see how far we can go with the thought. Put you in touch with others. Then we can review. And change.

Why a blog?
Scenario blog, rather than final conclusions, it is for the process ... I apologize for using the term "process" but I assure you that in English the word has no negative connotation whatsoever. Refers to this wonderful post thoughts and partial learning, to share the pregnancy of their own ideas or projects.

If you translate this post and publish it on my blog in English, nobody would know what I mean. The conversation is far beyond this. Paradoxically, although the posts are about very personal reflection and expression, the importance lies in how the blog as a node in a network. Then, the focus quickly moves to subject. In whatever we have in common and we can put in place to produce the change, said in a blog alone is not a dream.
