I had an uncle who worked in a publishing house, the guy I have it yet, but he is no longer dedicated to the letters. I once had to go to his office because he had to pick one of those long, boring tomes, those who made us read in high school. How this book was published by the publishing house where he worked, invited me to pick him up there.
In my mind I always hoped that the meeting was short, however as my uncle was aware of my interest in books, decided to give me a tour of the offices of that editorial. Not really much to see once you are in a place of those, not even many books, as there were imprinted directly or wineries. Towards the end of the tour my uncle said about the poetry section of the publisher. Your comments, unflattering, concluded by saying that poetry only generates losses. Then I, who am not given to the verses, and perhaps the only poem that caught my attention is the golem , asked that kept publishing books of poetry if it was as bad business to which he replied that any publishing house aspiring to have a good reputation should have a repertoire of poetry. The first thought that came to mind after hearing these words was, that publishers are as young teenagers playing to see who can spit farther or who has it longer.
never understand I think that is what poetry is calling many to write and very few understand it. Perhaps that was one of those left behind, one of those who will never understand poetry, I'll settle for writing invective.
